Be Kind

One of the toughest things for an individual to do is to be kind to his or herself.  Experiences and challenges can make one be critical and unforgiving of actions taken.  Why is it so easy to forgive someone else other than oneself?  Being one’s harshest critic is a job that is easily picked up yet difficult to let go of.

As you begin your healing journey, forgiving yourself is part of the process.  Don’t focus on what you’ve struggled with, focus on how far you’ve come.  Be kind to yourself; speak to yourself as you would another person.  Forgive yourself.  You’re worth it too.
