Abandonment

Parents who abandon their children teach them how to live without them. The surprise comes when the parent at some point feels “abandoned” by the child. Truth is this reap | sow concept is one that is epidemic and so very sad.  I’ve lived both spectrums as a child and now as a parent of […]

Mothers – Will You Take a Day to Pause to Rest?

RELAX FC

With Mother’s Day being tomorrow it seemed fitting for me to dedicate today’s post to the mothers around the world. Too often, as a mom, I see you going beyond for others to exceed expectations, but forget to do the same for yourself.

“There is NOTHING that compares to her Love, there is NOTHING that measures to her Compassion, there is NOTHING that withstands her Resiliency, and there is NOTHING that outshines her Selflessness – she, this woman I speak of, she IS a mother.” ~Coach Sam

Please note that even emptiness can render an undesirable output as well.  Mr. Gaskin often states that Love is Created; we can amplify this strategies and apply it to Health, […]

Co-Sleeping & Co-Parenting

CO SLEEPING WHILE CO PARENTING CCD

As much as we enjoy co-sleeping as new parents, all the cuddles and ease of feeding, it’s not always easy nor is it always comfortable! When we co-sleep for too long, our children can become co-dependent on having us around to obtain a good night’s rest. On […]

Teach LOVE not Hate

Some divorced parents will negatively influence their child’s feelings about the other parent as a form of revenge for a failed marriage. Negative feelings can extend beyond the parent to the parent’s new […]
