Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month

Good evening blessed and beautiful people.

March is Women’s Month and it’s also Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 💚💚💚

Green is our adopted color.

Maria (my daughter) has been my biggest blessing in life. She’s taught me to appreciate the things that truly matter in this world. Maria is also my greatest teacher and my reason for pressing on.

There have been more hurdles than I care to remember. I’ve had to fight for everything we’ve received…bath chairs, wheelchairs, physical therapy, help at home… The list is endless and yet God is good and the testimonies are modern miracles because my baby will be 24 next month, and I was told she wouldn’t live through the day she was born, Sunday, April 13, 1997.

I want to bring light to the special needs community. There are so many families with wonderful stories of perseverance in spite of our daily obstacles.

I’d especially love to answer any questions about Cerebral Palsy, my baby and how she shaped the entire course of my adult life.

I appreciate you reading this and I hope you join me in learning about a diagnosis that affects 800,000 Americans and 10,000 babies born each year in the United States.
