If you know someone who has suffered a head injury from a car accident, a fall or maybe even had a stroke, you know that something has changed in them. Why aren’t they the same as before? What are they struggling with? Why do they seem to get angry or irritated a lot? What can you do to help them? When I was thrown off a horse back in 1970, head injuries were not understood as they are today. I was stitched up and sent home…to struggle on my own. But now I am able help others understand head injuries and how to progress on the path of healing. Without this understanding, it is almost impossible to know what to do.
