CONFUSED DF EE C

Do You Know What You Want?

The idea for today's blog post "Do You Know What You Want?" came to mind after speaking to my mom about why it's challenging to identify your purpose when your confused about what you want. ~If you don't know what you want, you'll spend your life investing time doing things that take you in the wrong direction, going places that don't matter, and aligning yourself with people you shouldn't.~ Coach Sam

Do you know what you want have you ever been out and time just got by you? Then you looked up and you like wow time really has flown by and I’m hungry. I’m ready to eat and I’m ready to eat now because if I don’t I’m fall out in these streets.

But I – I just don’t know what I want. I don’t know if I want tacos. I don’t know if I want a burger. I don’t know if I want Asian food. I just don’t know what I want to eat but I know I am very hungry!

If you have a been there you were in a state of confusion. So today I want to tell you about three reasons why it’s important to know what you want especially in a relationship.

Number 1 to minimize the confusion because like I said when you’re confused you are not clear on what you want. And it’s very hard for you to come to this other person and say listen I know that we’re together but this ain’t working. You are not giving me the things that I need and want because you are not clear on the things that you need and want.

So it then puts the other person in a position to guess or try to figure out themselves where they are coming up short so that they can provide those things that you need and want.

Number to it minimizes your stress. When you’re clear on what it is you want you can communicate that to the other person that you’re with and you can communicate that to them in a way that they will understand or at least they should understand if they’re seeking to understand you so that the relationship can work.

Because again we know that stress is not good. Yes, we’re all going to have stress and we all do have stress in some shape, form, and fashion throughout our lives. It’s just a part of life. Things happen and it causes stress.

But we know they continually being stressed out is not a plus, it’s a negative. It recks all kind of stress on our body.

And lastly it minimizes you wasting your time. When you’re clear on what you want in relationships you don’t waste a lot of time because you know what it is you need and you want. But again, if you’re going in and you don’t know what you want, you’ll find yourself wasting time. And we all know we’re not going to be on Earth forever.

We all know that at some point we’re going to check out of planet Earth and so it makes no sense for us to be going in relationships and getting involved with people and it’s just a waste of our time.

So be mindful of that and know if you’re going into relationships and you’re going into them not knowing what it is that you want you’re going to find yourself dealing with a lot of confusion, dealing with a lot of stress, and eventually all that’s going to do is end up wasting your time.
