FEARISALIAR

False Fear

"Know that it's not until you determine to overcome your fears, that you will move from your place of stuck into your place of promise..."

“I’m afraid!”

…Likely what the sentiment of your heart speaks, but your mouth won’t. Many of us struggle with the reality of fear and it has become such a common existence of our hearts that the ability to identify it disappears. We suppress every doubtful thought that separates us from faith. It becomes a part of who we are and how we operate. Unfortunately, there is an internal struggle going on within our members. It’s a battle you were designed to win, but unless you know that, you remain defeated.

Fear has a power to possess a presence that appears bigger than it really is. I’ve once heard an acronym for fear that explains it as F.alse E.vidence A.ppearing R.eal. It is the most authentic definition of the word in my opinion. Fear is a liar. Fear is not as tough as it builds itself up to be. Often times the very things that we stand in fear over, are the very things that most likley aren’t even real…The monsters in the closet or under the bed. The illness. The loss. The threat of the imaginary picture in our head stands strong. What we often fear is something that we have the power to overcome with faith.

People often think that the opposite of faith is doubt, when in essence it is fear. That disrupter. That liar. That thief. Robbing people of dreams and ambitions daily. Know that it’s not until you determine to overcome your fears, that you will move from your place of stuck into your place of promise. There is so much waiting for you when you finally release the fear. And know that you may be a little worried. You may even be a little afraid. Who cares? No one ever said that success would be void fear. Just know that it doesn’t have to stop you and disqualify you from destiny.

Do it afraid!
