YOU VOICE

Find Your Voice – Is your silence communicating agreement?

Have you ever been unhappy with the way you were treated, but decided it was not worth mentioning?  You think that ignoring the person or the behavior will resolve the issue, more than likely it will not.  Then you wonder why the person continues with the same behavior.  Often times your silence is taken as agreement.  You must voice how you feel and/or how a person’s behavior makes you feel.  Hopefully, if the person loves and cares for you, they will modify their behavior.  If you see that your concerns are not taken into consideration, it’s time to reevaluate and adjust that relationship.
