Blessed Thursday to all who may see this. I hope this post finds you in the best of places.

I wanted to share that I advocated for a young lady at my daughter’s group home today.

I’m not sharing this because I want thanks or to boast…I want you to reflect on the following question: If not you, who?

I’m at the group home daily. I see this young lady, her posture appearing beyond uncomfortable in her wheelchair…. She cries out regularly.

“I bet it hurts.” I think to myself..

I found the manager and voiced my concerns. She agreed and said that they were already trying to get her a new chair.

I was happy to hear that because if nothing else, they pay attention to detail.

Learn to be a voice for the voiceless.

No one can do everything but everyone can do something…

That’s how we shift our culture forward.
