It’s National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day!!!

Good evening everyone!

I hope this message finds you well. I’m healing from the nine day hospital visit my daughter Maria just survived.

She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. I was told she wouldn’t make it through that night, almost 24 years ago!

Well, she sufferers from digestive issues because she’s sedentary (sits all day). Her stomach had to be pumped out slowly and after 6 days, she was able to evacuate her bowels.

They called a septic code on my baby and I was concerned that I’d lose her.

All of the peace I thought I had went out the window while Maria was hospitalized.

My mother, older sister and my little brother all flew in to support us.

My heart has never felt more full. I was extremely grateful.

So, on this national CP awareness day, I’m extra grateful for my biggest blessing, Maria!

We wore 💚 green today; to represent awareness and we enjoyed ourselves in nature.

I hope you had a great day as well.

Stay blessed tribe!
