Easy tool to use when you are feeling anxious, uneasy or just needing to slow down… Sit in a quiet space where you won’t be distracted for a few minutes. Close your eyes and start to notice your breathing go in and out naturally. No need to do anything except to watch your breath. You will be the watcher of your breathing as you naturally breath in and out. Focus on this repetitive motion. Feel your body start to relax, you will feel at ease and soon you will feel very calm and peaceful. If your thoughts start to wander in, just notice the thought, do not judge and refocus on your breathing. This can take 30 seconds to up to 4 minutes depending on how you want to feel. Enjoy the sensation. 🙂
