Keeping a positive attitude as a Nurse during this pandemic

Nurses are feeling the stress of not only additional duties but the stress of keeping safe as well. Take each day one by one and live in the moment! Talk to someone about how you are feeling. Cry. Laugh. Most importantly take care of yourself first! This may include taking a day off! It may include working out at home.  Eat as healthy as possible. Journal. Avoid overtime now as it could lead to increased stress. Enjoy your days off with your family. Put aside attitude and encourage someone else. Be understanding of staff concerns about the virus. We as nurses need each other.
