Let Go and Let God

"Maybe we're Standing firm, holding tight onto a Fantasy when God is trying to deliver us to our Destiny." Robin GK

Let Go and Let God. This has been a challenge for me in my life. So often I clinched. I clinched my jaw at night while I slept, I sometimes forgot to breath, because I held my breath, I held on tight to things, because I felt the need to control everything. But not anymore. Now I’m learning to Let Go and Let God. There are things that we can control and should. And there are things that we can’t control, and shouldn’t try. We just need to learn discernment. Which is sometimes a long road in itself. That’s why the Serenity Prayer is so important to learn, and recite.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.”

It’s not just for people in AA. This is such a powerful prayer to practice for all of us daily.

It’s hard to believe that if we let go of our anxiety to make sure a situation goes to plan in our favor, that it still can, if it’s meant to. And if it doesn’t, it’s okay, because we can relax in knowing that maybe something good will come out of things not going the way we thought they should at that point in our lives. Maybe God knows something that we don’t. Maybe we’re Standing firm, holding tight onto a Fantasy when God is trying to deliver us to our Destiny.

Let Go Of Expectations. Let Go Of Anxieties. Let Go of The Should Haves. Because they’re weighing you down and holding you back!

🕊I can Help you Find your Light again. Help you to remember that Your Light is meant to shine! We need to remember that we’re supposed to put a lamp up on a high table, for it to do what it’s meant to do, shed light for all to see. 🌟 A lamp is not meant to be hidden under a Bushel Basket.  ROBIN GK
