Nutrition: Fuel your body

Thanks for stopping in. Today I wanted to talk about nutrition. The nutrients we put in our body is so important because it keeps us alert, energized and ready to take on the day. 

 

Food with high calories and less nutrients are damaging our bodies. Damage to the human body presents itself through illness and disease. Food with high calories and less nutrients are considered high processed foods. High processed foods can be found in the grocery store pantry’s, fast food chains and even high end restaurants. The less high processed food we eat the better our overall health. Our bodies thrives when we consume more nutrient dense foods.

 

Foods considered nutrient dense are fruit, vegetables, whole grains, beans, seeds, nuts and lean protein. When we add these foods to our diets the better we look and feel. Below I have included foods that will help you as your building a healthy lifestyle.
