There are many forms of Self Care. Protecting your peace is not to be excluded from the list. Self Care is not selfish. Learning when to say NO, is one of the ways you can protect your peace. How many times have we overly extended ourselves mentally and emotionally, only to feel like we’ve literally been beat upside the head with a 2×4? It starts with awareness. When it becomes a pattern of someone constantly challenging you in that area, it’s time to evaluate wether or not the situation is intentional or not. Pray for clarity, wisdom, and understanding. Listen to your intuition. Address the situation if need be. Act and proceed accordingly. 👑 (*Sidenote: Not ever situation needs or deserves to be addressed. Use discretion.)
