Resurrect- Yourself!
As Resurrection Sunday comes and goes, I am reminded that we as individuals have to continue to do the work required to grow and become a better person. Have you truly thought about the word ‘resurrect’ and how it could relate to your life.
As of April 13, 2020, Merriam-webster.com shows:
Definition of resurrect (transitive verb)
1: to raise from the dead
2: to bring to view, attention, or use again
Now, look at yourself. What part of you is dead that you know is buried deep and you want to ‘resurrect’? Do have a gift or desire that you have a strong desire to grow/use again, or brought back to life?
For me it’s writing. Me writing you, the reader, has been a challenge to do, but I am working to resurrect the love for this craft.
You are the tree with a lot of apples. Each apple is your gift, but the apples can either grow or they can fall off and die!
