I had a dream last night. In my dream, I was riding a bike and this lady that I know from high school KEPT trying to get me to give up the bike so someone else could get on and ride it. I refused several times. Shoot, it was MY bike!

She then had some men join her in trying to get me to get off the bike. She started insinuating that the bike wasn’t mine. This made no sense to me because I knew this girl and she knew me, yet she was calling my character into question and trying to involve others who she thought could control me. This really angered me.

Her people were more forceful than she was. I STILL refused to get off MY bike. Then they started asking me questions like, “Who do you think you are? Who are you related to around here? Why are you here anyway?” This really ticked me off! I mean who were they to be questioning me?! I was minding my own business not bothering anybody. And on top of that, like I already said, this girl knew me!

As I started answering their questions with my natural pedigree, they appeared shocked by the answers to my questions. Then they looked at each other with puzzled looks on their faces and began to back down and away from me. I found this very interesting too because by the world’s standards, my natural pedigree isn’t much.

Then I woke up. Immediately, I KNEW this dream was spiritual. As soon as I woke up, in my spirit, I heard “don’t give up your seat.” As I continued to mediate on the dream during my praise and prayer trek this morning, I heard, “stay at my feet.” I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if the enemy can get you away from the Master’s feet, he can get you to give up your seat; and if you give up your seat, you are sure to be depleted and meet defeat.

I want to encourage you today to stay at the Master’s feet. It is there that you find completion. He informs you and reminds you of who He is and who you are in Him right there at His feet. From that place, you are able to ascend and embrace your position with Him in the Heavenly seat. As you do that, you can RESIST being depleted and defeated because you can REST knowing that victory is your perpetual portion.

No devil, known or unknown to you, can talk you out of your seat when you spend time at the Master’s feet. In the spirit, natural pedigree doesn’t matter so don’t get caught up on who you are according to the world‘s standard of being somebody. All that matters is that you know who He is, who you are in Him spiritually, and that you agree with Him!

Stop conforming to the boxes that others, often people you know, try to put you in. Recognize that you may or may not come from good stock by way of your family tree, but because you have been engrafted into a spiritual family, you are GODSTOCK. You are covered under the precious blood of Jesus. You are all that He says you are. Your seat is secure and you don’t have to give it up for anyone!

Stay at His feet and don’t give up your seat!

“He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” Ephesians‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭TPT‬‬
