The Faith to Understand.

We know the walk of a Christian is faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross. But it’s hard to walk and live it because there are opposing factors against our beliefs. When faith says, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed,” John 20:29b NKJV, the world says, “Seeing is believing.”

So how do we survive such a contradicting world serving an invisible God? Do you believe in God enough to put everything of yours in Him, knowing that it might not work the way you want?

How many times have you felt like, “I don’t get it”? Because one minute you received it, the next, everything comes crashing down. And you’re left wondering how it happened after all you’ve done.

The truth, it’s not about you, it’s about God.

This is how faith works. The bible says without faith, it’s impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6.  Faith is based on the promises of God, rather than our feelings or things. But we struggle to understand this faith that we have.

That’s the problem; trying to comprehend the things of The Spirit with the mind of man. Faith is God-given, and the way to understand and live by it is by the Spirit of God.

Don’t be stuck with enough faith that He exists but not believing in Him. Faith can grow, and the place to start is His word, Romans 10:17. God has given us His Spirit, and He’s there to help us, 1Corinthians 2:12. The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith not from faith to works, Romans 1:17. Who is Gods righteousness? Jesus.  And where does He live? You.

So it’s okay if you’ve had it hard in this. The minute you recognize that God exists out of time and doesn’t operate under the laws of this world, your faith will work beyond what you can see. Celebrate what’s unseen because what’s seen is not significant. The more we feed our spirit with the word of God, the stronger our faith becomes.
