Trust Yourself

At some point in life, we have to learn to trust ourselves.  Why do we trust other people more than we trust about ourselves?  To think about it, somehow you have made it through everything life has thrown at you and you are still in the life living game. Although life is uncertain at times, take a minute to look at all of the seemingly impossible times you survived. Think about all the times you asked yourself if you would make it through. Even at times, when you obtained assistance from an outside source like a more seasoned adult, a life coach, or even a therapist, you did the work to still strived. Have faith that whatever happens in the future, you will find a way to deal with it.

And while you are at it, quit looking for things to fix.  You are not a home improvement show, not that there is anything wrong with them, but I would encourage you to be happy with what you see in front of you.

Whether it be your house or yourself, we should not become consumed with the outward appearance of either if it disrupts our peace. Our bodies and our house is a means for us to live within.  They will, at times, be untidy, unshuffled, and look lived within. Relax if something needs fixing, you will get the resources  Trust that you will get to it. But for now, honor the life you live in the space provided!
