A lot of people have the wrong perception about accountability. Accountability does not equal discipline. Accountability does not mean someone is going to bring the hammer down on you. Accountability is simply being answerable for your actions and decisions. You are accountable for the things you are tasked with or things you have promised yourself. Accountability is simply doing that “thing” you said you would do. Accountability can be a hard thing for many folks and to be very frank it’s the beast I have wrestled with myself. However, in order to be successful in my own right, I had to conquer that beast!!
