About Alicia

I was born to Jamaican parents, in Opa-locka, Florida. I was raised in South Florida, until I left to attend the highest of seven hills, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), for college. I graduated as a history major, and minored in Pre-Law, with my Bachelor of Science degree. I then pursued law, graduating from law school in 2017. I started working for corporate America in 2019 in the arena of emergency management- which continues to be my career today. I got married in 2017 and was divorced by year 2022. I am the mommy of an active, funny, and inquisitive six (6) year old boy. I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I have a sweet tooth, I love interior design, and I love Mexican food. Creating memories with my son is important to me. I love encouraging others, speaking life into others, and I love seeing people win. My heart is warm, and I feel fulfilled when I am able to serve someone else (my time, money, resources, etc). My journey to where i am today is all due to Christ. I owe my life to Jesus, and all I have is due to his grace and mercy on me.

Why I coach

Are you looking for a judgement-free space to air your concerns and thoughts about motherhood, your career, co-parenting, or just life in general? Let’s talk about it, because I am here to help. My goal is to provide a space that encourages you, helps you find that inner peace, and assist you with navigating life feeling hopeful instead of hopeless. I don’t claim/purport to know it at all, and I am not perfect. Additionally, I am no medical or mental health professional. The only doctorate I have is in Jurisprudence, and my goal is not to provide legal help. I aim to provide words of encouragement, words of empowerment, and build your confidence session by session. My purpose is not to say things you want to hear, but to provide that additional support you may need- in the areas where you need it. I get it. Post-divorce life was scary to me, co-parenting for me is not a walk in the park, and I have dealt with workplace sabotage and wage disparity. Having faith and additional support from trusted confidants helped me land in the space of peace and gratitude today, and I want that for you too. So... Are you recently divorced? Let’s talk about it. Co-parenting issues? Let’s talk about it. Having a career crisis and wanting to discuss those feelings? Let’s talk about it. Feeling hopeless as a parent? Let’s talk about it. I am just a woman who loves the Lord, and is willing to encourage and share her tips and tricks; all the while testifying on how God has helped and guided me in the areas of post-divorce, career, and co-parenting. Any ideas or thoughts I share are based on my personal experience, and what worked for me. Faith and Jesus are heavy around here. If you are comfortable, every session will end in prayer. My goal is for you to leave my session(s) feeling more assured in yourself, loving yourself more, having peace, all the while- moving and operating in the will of God. So, c'mon, let’s talk about it; I am here to help.
