About Mykaela
I am independent, systems-oriented thinker who gets energized by diagnosing problems, forming strong judgments, and helping people or organizations make better decisions. My professional background as an intelligence professional has taught me the value of thoughtful analysis, decision making, and follow-through in high-pressure environments. I believe lasting results come from both sound processes and people who feel supported, capable, and aligned. I help transitioning service members decide what to do now, and what can wait.
Why I coach
Here's what I've learned: separation isn't one big decision. It's a stack of smaller ones. What to figure out now, what can wait, and what's actually worth worrying about at all. Over the past few months, I've had real conversations with people facing critical decisions with too many unknowns: • An active-duty Airman weighing reenlistment against getting out. • An Army National Guardsman figuring out if a career change into sales is worth the leap. • A project manager deciding whether to keep working or step back for family, while her husband's job stayed uncertain. Different situations. Same pattern. More questions than clarity, and no sense of what to decide first. My framework is simple: • SEEK CLARITY: Name what is true and what is keeping you stuck. • EXPLORE POSSIBILITIES: Consider the paths in front of you. • MOVE WITH PURPOSE: Choose a direction and take aligned action. • PERSEVERE: Adapt to obstacles and keep moving forward. I'm not on the other side of this looking back. I'm in it, right now, right alongside the people I talk to. If you're facing a hard decision, transition or otherwise, let's talk.
