My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." ~Maya Angelou

About Shajuane

Meet Shajuane Shajuane is a compassionate and experienced Life Coach who brings a unique combination of professional expertise, lived experience, and a genuine passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges. Her professional experience includes working within the family court system supporting supervised parent-child visitation, as well as working with substance-exposed infants and their parents. She has extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate complex systems, including healthcare, courts, law enforcement, mental health, and addiction services. As a divorced mother raising a 10-year-old son and a caregiver to her disabled father, Shajuane understands firsthand the demands of balancing family, caregiving, career, and personal growth. These experiences have strengthened her ability to listen without judgment, see the bigger picture, and help others find practical pathways forward. Through life coaching, Shajuane helps clients recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, navigate difficult transitions, establish healthy boundaries, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. Her coaching philosophy is simple: meet people where they are, help them see where they can go, and walk alongside them as they get there.

Why I coach

Shajuane became a Life Coach because she has witnessed how often people have the desire to change but lack the support, clarity, confidence, or resources to know where to begin. Throughout her career and personal life, she has found herself naturally encouraging others, helping them identify options, navigate obstacles, advocate for themselves, and recognize strengths they sometimes could not see in themselves. She believes that people do not always need someone to fix their problems—they often need someone who will listen, help them gain perspective, and walk alongside them as they figure out their next step.
