I still believe what my eyes can't see

About Sharonda

I coach youth and young women who are fighting through trauma, self‑doubt, and the weight of their past. Supporting the next generation is both my passion and my mission — and my assignment from God. Through faith‑based guidance, practical tools, and honest transparency, I help them rebuild resilience, rediscover hope, and step into the calling God has placed on their lives. My work is rooted in belief — belief in their healing, their potential, and their ability to rise above what tried to break them. I show up fully and authentically, sharing real experiences and real truths so young women know they’re not alone and don’t have to hide their struggles. I walk alongside them as they learn to trust their voice, strengthen their faith, and see themselves the way God sees them: chosen, capable, and called. I am also in the process of launching a nonprofit transitional home designed to mentor and support young women ages 17–23. This upcoming space will provide safety, stability, and guidance for young women who need a place to grow, heal, and rebuild. Even before its official launch, the vision is already shaping the way I serve, lead, and show up for the next generation. My mission is to empower youth and young women to overcome setbacks, break unhealthy cycles, and boldly pursue the purpose that has been waiting for them. I don’t just coach them through challenges — I help them grow into who God created them to be.

Why I coach

I became a coach because God gave me an assignment to use my gift to reach youth and young women. My childhood was taken away from me at an early age, but God has given me a second chance and reminded me that I still have purpose. Because of what I survived, I’m able to identify the burdens young people carry — even the ones they don’t speak about. It’s the child in me that still feels, still sees, and still understands what they’re going through. I find joy in stepping in early, getting in front of certain situations, and helping youth avoid experiences that could break their confidence or their spirit. My calling is to be a safe place for them — someone who can guide, support, and remind them that no matter what they’ve been through, they are unique in their own way. God has a community of people who have survived similar battles just so they can relate, encourage, and stand with the next generation. And through it all, my natural sense of humor keeps me goofy, authentic, and real — so they never feel out of place. I show up as myself, fully and honestly, because I want them to know they can do the same. Coaching isn’t just something I do — it’s the assignment God trusted me with.
