About Vivian

Welcome! My name is Vivian and I am a Christian, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and certified foodie from Southern California. I truly believe that food is a form of medicine that God has provided for every person to use to thrive, rather than just survive. I have experienced ups and downs with my relationship with food due to life's challenges—including being diagnosed with an autoimmune driven gluten intolerance, battling gluttony during emotionally demanding seasons, and even meal prepping on a strict budget due to financial limitations. We all face trying times as we live in an imperfect world yet, I believe the wise combination of leaning on God's grace plus learning new skills can empower anyone to make progress on their health journey! ***Obtained Life Coach Certification from Tony Gaskins Academy in 2026. ***More Resources: https://linktr.ee/FearNotFoodie

Why I coach

***“Fear Not” Foodie NUTRITION COACHING*** I aim to support your unique food journey and make space for all the questions you need to achieve clarity on goals/next steps. Some of the topics we may cover include: strategies to overcome emotional eating & spiritual struggles with food, kitchen reorganization, revamping recipes, meal prep, virtual grocery shopping assistance, and so much more! ***ADHD/NEURODIVERGENCE FOCUSED LIFE COACHING*** As a late diagnosis ADHD-er (tested at age 28) I have learned that my neurodivergent brain is different, not dysfunctional. Mainstream advice for productivity, relationship building, eating and self-care often fell short or did not stick—thus, I've truly benefited from using novel systems and routines to accommodate my brain's unique needs. Through coaching, I hope to share what I have learned as your Neurodivergence-Informed Life Coach and help you create systems to improve your quality of life. ***HIGHER EDUCATION ADMISSIONS COACHING*** I was the first person in my immediate family to attend high school in the USA, so figuring out the pathway through higher education as a black woman medicine (STEM) was challenging. However, I was blessed to receive guidance from professors, mentors, and peers. I also worked to obtain several scholarship awards and job opportunities to self-fund my education. As a low-income student from an immigrant household, I earned admissions to programs at Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, UCLA, USC, and more, at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I am a living testimony that excellence is possible no matter what background you come from—mentorship support truly expanded my options for higher education! My goal is to pay it forward by providing engaging and transformative sessions to support others as they pursue higher education.
